Corona measures at a glance

Your safety and well-being are very important to us and have top priority in all planning. A holiday this year is slightly different from those of the last few years – that doesn’t mean it won’t be at least as exciting and enjoyable!

We are doing everything to ensure that you can enjoy your holiday at our hotel in a relaxing and safe manner. To make this possible we appeal to your personal responsibility – if everyone adheres to the safety measures and we take care of our own wellbeing as well as that of others, we will manage to master this current time together and soon return to everyday life.

We would be pleased to inform you about the safety measures at our hotel – needless to say we comply with the laws and regulations of the authorities and update the measures regularly.

Current cancellation conditions

Uncertain times call for flexible solutions. As part of our carefree package, we allow you exactly this flexibility and provide you with worry-free holiday planning. We offer you the following cancellation conditions in winter 2021/2022:

  • Cancellation is free of charge up to 6 weeks before arrival.
  • From 6 weeks up to 4 weeks before arrival, the cancellation fee is 40 % of the cost of the booking.
  • From 1 month to 1 week prior to your arrival, the cancellation fee is 70 % of the cost of the booking.
  • Within the last week preceding the date of arrival, we take 90 % of the total agreed price.
  • Upon late arrival or early departure, we charge the full price.

In the event of a border or hotel closure or a lockdown, you can cancel free of charge, even at short notice.

Sometimes things turn out differently and the booked vacation must be canceled or prematurely broken off. We want to spare you the associated costs and anger. Therefore we recommend taking out a hotel cancellation insurance from Europäische Reiseversicherung (including Covid coverage free of charge).

Our tip: take out travel cancellation insurance and take your "private guardian angel" with you on holiday.

General Information

Mandatory 3-G proof as a prerequisite for entry to Hotel Seespitz****Superior

 

TESTED

  • Negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours).

VACCINATED

  • Complete immunisation is valid from the day of the 2nd vaccination.
  • Vaccines with only 1 vaccination (Johnson & Johnson) are valid from the 22nd day of vaccination.

GENESES

  •  A medical confirmation is valid for 180 days after an expired infection with SARS-CoV-2. This must have been proven by molecular biology (e.g. PCR test).
  • An official segregation order is also valid for 180 days.
  • Proof of a positive test for neutralising antibodies is valid for 90 days.

A test certificate is required for children aged 12 and over.

 

IMPORTANT: Persons with the status "tested" or only one vaccination must carry out self-responsible, regular testing on site after the expiry of the validity of the last day (PCR=72h). Tests are carried out directly at the doctor's office or in the screening street. (The costs have to be paid by the patient). Unfortunately, testing is not possible at the hotel.

3-Step plan

To enable a safe and successful winter season, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Health have developed concrete winter rules. The existing 3-step plan already partly provides the legal framework:

  • 1st level: Currently
  • 2nd level: From 7 days after the intensive care bed occupancy rate of 15% has been exceeded.
  • 3rd level: From 7 days after the utilization of 20% has been exceeded.

The following measures apply in any case up to stage 3, which comes into effect seven days after the intensive care bed occupancy rate of 20 per cent (400 beds) has been exceeded.  Measures going beyond level 3 will be taken in the event of a further increase in intensive care bed occupancy, especially for the unvaccinated.

I have COVID-19, what now?

COVID-19 is insured by the European Travel Insurance in the same way as any other unexpected serious illness.

Cancellation is possible if …

  • A guest has fallen ill with COVID-19.
  • A close relative or a person living in the same household is infected with the virus and needs urgent attention.
  • There are signs of suspected corona (fever or other typical symptoms) – even if the test result is subsequently negative.
  • A corona test is positive, but the person has no symptoms.
  • The guest must be quarantined because a relative or person living in the shared household is infected with the virus.

General hygiene measures

  • Surfaces, door handles, etc., are cleaned and disinfected several times a day.
  • All of our employees are required to provide 3G proof.
    In lifts there are passenger limits.
  • Disinfectant dispensers can be found at several locations in our hotel.
  • Seespitz A-Z: All important hotel information, interesting facts about what's on offer in Ischgl can be called up conveniently on site using your smartphone, tablet or notebook. Nevertheless, feel free to drop by the reception at any time - high security standards protect you!
  • Avoid risk – we ask you to stay below your personal limits of performance to avoid accidents and injuries.

Arrival and departure

Check-in:

  • On request, we offer you the possibility to check-in conveniently and easily from home.
  • On your arrival we will give you a warm welcome, but do not shake hands or hug you.
  • Your keys will be disinfected before you hand them over.

Check-out:

  • We also arrange the checkout to make it as convenient and fast as the check-in: you are also welcome to settle your hotel bill the evening before your departure.
  • The possibility of contactless payment.

Cuisine

  • You continue to enjoy our delicious pampering board! Of course, nothing will change in the high quality of the food. In the kitchen your dishes will be prepared as usual with the highest safety and attention to detail.
  • Mouth and nose protection, disposable gloves and disinfectants are available for free use.
  • All surfaces are of course thoroughly cleaned and continuously disinfected. This applies to the kitchen as well as to the entire buffet area and the dining room.
  • Each room/reservation has a designated table in our restaurant area.
  • Mouth and nose protection, disposable gloves, and disinfectants are provided.

Our spa area

  • All our wellness offers are at your disposal. Massages take place without restrictions.
  • Please disinfect the equipment in the weight room after use.
  • Due to the distance rules, there are no restrictions in the area of person capacities in the sauna or steam bath, but we appeal to your personal responsibility!
  • Opening times will be adjusted if necessary.

Your retreat

  • All rooms are cleaned to the highest level of hygiene according to the cleaning concept of the Hollu company.
  • Our staff has been trained in special hygiene measures.
  • Our housekeeping team thoroughly cleans, airs, and disinfects the rooms daily and after each departure.

Public Areas

CABLE CARS

85% of the cable cars are open vehicles with a lower risk of infection and a journey time of less than 15 minutes. To secure the winter season, the cable car companies are taking additional measures for a safe winter holiday in Austria.

  • Level 1-3: Compulsory wearing of an FFP2 mask.

Introduction of the 3-G rule from the start of the season.

  • If entry certificates are introduced, they will be checked when tickets are sold (a practical implementation is still being worked on).
  • Visitors must always have valid 3G proof with them and present them as part of random checks.
  • If the visitors fail to comply with the epidemiological measures, the cable car companies should be released from their transport obligation.
  • Measures going beyond level 3 - in particular restrictions for unvaccinated persons - will be carried out in accordance with the general measures.

APRÈS-SKI

  • In general, the same rules apply for après-ski as for night catering. 
  • During stage 1, guests must show a valid negative PCR test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery (medical confirmation or segregation notice). Proof of antibodies or antigen testing is not sufficient.
  • For night catering establishments and après-ski, the 2-G rule (vaccinated and recovered persons - no tests as proof) will be introduced from stage 2.
